Have Pitch Pipe, Will Travel!
We are women who love to sing. Our choice of music is ladies barbershop harmony, a cappella style. We need only a pitch pipe and some eager singers to perform, you call us and we’ll be there. We choose to sing a variety of songs under the barbershop umbrella. Our picks are Broadway show tunes, musical movie hits, beloved patriotic songs, holiday favorites and other familiar tunes.
Generally speaking, the Chordaires Show Chorus performs in a large group setting which is conducive for a chorus of 20 or more singers. However, there are many occasions in which a small group is more appropriate. Then the Ambassadors, which are an octet, entertain. Some venues may require an even smaller group, and for that we present the Sun Catchers and New Notes Quartets. All four groups, Chordaires Show Chorus, Ambassadors, Sun Catchers, and New Notes sing the same repertoire of Barbershop style music. We perform many Sing Outs during the Holiday season, and are available for parties and programs throughout the year.
